Ideal for slow-speed traffic and vehicle access control for keeping track of visitors in areas such as car parks, city centers and gated communities. Capable of capturing license plate readings at speeds up to 45mph (70km/h)

With thanks to the intelligent analytics, people-hours used up to monitor gates and are reduced and can be freed up to complete other tasks, improving efficiency and potentially saving costs. Being an affordable and cost effective solution the Axis License Plate Verifier enables a reliable system that can replace manned guard booths. And, being an embedded application, within the camera, it eliminates the need for costly additional servers. 

Typical Set-Up for Vehicle Access 

1) The application reads the vehicle license plate captured by the camera. 

2) License plate is on Allow-List.

3a) The Cameras I/O port connects to the barrier’s relay.

3b) Axis A91 Network I/O Relay Module connects to the barrier’s relay.

3c) Axis network door controller connects to the barrier’s relay for extended functionality 

4) Barrier opens

Axis License Plate Verifier allows the user the ability to make decisions to suit their requirements. The flexible solution can support more complex requirements. First and foremost, the application is typically used follow an allow-list and block-list of up to 10,000 licenses per list. This enables users to determine whether a vehicle is allowed to enter a controlled area or not.
