Axis M3905-R M12 2MP Dome Camera 02501-001

The Axis M3905-R is a 2MP Dome camera, with a compact, rugged design, and support for a selection of Axis technologies (including; Lightfinder, Forensic WDR, Zipstream, Traffic Light mode, and more.)

Built-in cybersecurity features (Signed firmware, Secure boot, and, Axis Edge Vault) are also included, to keep your footage and systems are secure as possible.

The M3905-R also features a robust, IP66/67 (Ingress Protection – for resistance against water and dust) and IK10 (Impact resistance) rated design, equipped for application in outdoor environments.

Models – The M3905-R comes avaliable as 2 models. The M12 (02502-001) and the RJ45 (02501-001). These models are designed with different connectors.

RJ45 – Male, 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX (please see here for more information on this model)
M12 – Female, rugged, D-coded, with Rotatable Coupling nut

All connectors support PoE.

Features Explained:

– Zipstream preserves all the important forensic details users need whilst lowering storage and bandwidth requirements and costs but an average of 50%.

– WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) helps to ensure that camera images are usable and clear. In some scenes, there can be a contrast between the darkest and brightest spots in a scene, this can cause the image to be under or overexposed making it difficult, even impossible to identify objects and people. WDR technology can help rectify this issue, producing clear images regardless of difficult light scenarios. 

– Lightfinder delivers high-resolution, full-colour video with minimum motion blur even in near darkness. This technology is able to make dark areas in a scene visible and can capture details in very low-light scenarios.

– Built-in Cybersecurity Features have been created and applied to counter different types of cyber attacks, effectively battle vulnerabilities and prevent unauthorised access to users’ systems. These features are able to detect firmware tampering and prevent device replacement, this safeguards the system and helps reduce the risk of digital attacks.

– Axis Video Motion Detection detects and triggers an event when objects move within a predefined area in the camera view. This is ideal for use in small, low-traffic areas in non-critical applications.
