The Axis P1468-LE is a 4K bullet camera offering excellent image quality and advanced analytics based on deep learning on the edge.

Packed full of features the P1468-LE can deliver high-quality images regardless of lighting conditions. True colours and great forensic detail are depicted even in challenging light or near darkness thanks to Lightfinder 2.0 and Forensic WDR technology. As well as this, OptimisedIR is effective up to 40m enabling users to see footage in darkness without the need for extra lighting. Bandwidth and storage requirements are reduced by Axis’ Zipstream technology with support from H.265 and H.264.

Axis have many safeguarding features in place in order to secure your system. Built-in cybersecurity features help prevent unauthorised access and Axis Edge Vault protects users’ Axis ID whilst simplifying the authorisation of Axis products on the network. Not only this but signed firmware and secure boot guarantee that the firmware hasn’t been compromised and ensure only authorised firmware is installed.

The camera is based on the latest (as of August 2022) system-on-chip (SoC) ARTPEC-8. Including a deep learning processing unit (DLPU), the P1468-LE features improved processing and storage capabilities that allow users to both collect and analyse more data than ever before. Detection and classification of humans, vehicles and vehicle types have been made possible with Axis Object Analysis.

The P1468-LE has been designed for outdoor use with its IP66/IP67, NEMA 4X and IK10 ratings the unit is protects against dust, rain, snow and impacts. It can also withstand winds of up to 50m/s.
