The Axis P3255-LVE is a 2MP dome camera which has been streamlined for analytics with deep learning. The vari-focal lens ranges from 3.4mm to 8.9mm providing a horizontal field of view of 100°-36°

Featuring Axis Object Analytics directly on the camera, providing impressive, granular object classification reducing the need for expensive servers resulting in a faster, more scale-able system. 

The P3255-LVE features Lightfinder 2.0 to offer excellent image quality, day or night. Additional features such as Optimized IR Illumination which can reach up to 40m and Forensic WDR further support the camera in providing excellent, and well balanced images in various scenarios where challenging light conditions could be problematic. 

Users are assured that the camera is suitable for installation outdoors with it’s IP66 rating and optional weather shield to prevent rain droplets distorting the image. The P3255-LVE is also ideal for use in public spaces as it has been rated IK10, meaning it’s vandal proof. 

Axis Zipstream technology allows users to reduce the storage without compromising the image quality. Zipstream preserves the important forensic details that you need whilst at the same time lowering the bandwidth and storage requirements. Users can see savings by an average of 50% capacity, sometimes even more. 

The Axis P3255-LVE is powered by POE. The camera can operate in a wide range of temperatures from -40 °C to 50 °C (-40 °F to 122 °F), whilst it’s maximum operating temperature (intermittent) is 55 °C (131 °F).
