The Axis P7316 is a full-featured, 16-channel video encoder that adds IP benefits to any analogue camera system. With this unit users can migrates to IP surveillance at their own speed.

The P7316 delivers video at 30fps from NTSC/PAL or HD analogue video in 1080p resolution. As well as this it supports HD analogue up to 4K resolution. Zipstream technology with H.264/H.265 drastically reduces bandwidth and storage requirements for users. Remote access enables users to video streams on any browser or computer and change camera settings. The unit supports two-way audio and intelligent analytics, as well as audio detection with analogue and digital Axis T83 microphones. The RS485 port lets you control analogue PTZ cameras and an SFP slot enables optical fibre connection and network redundancy.

This unit enables users to move into the world of IP surveillance at their own pace whilst protecting the investment in their analogue equipment. Built on an open platform the P7316 allows users to use open-standard IT hardware or video management software from any chosen supplier. The P7316 is rack-mountable and enables large numbers of analogue cameras and audio channels to be integrated into an IP-based, high-density video surveillance system. Not only this, but when used with the Axis Camera Station video management software, users only need one license for all 16 channels.
