Axis People Counter e-License provides a cost effective way to monitor your visitor data, whether that be in a shop, hospitality location, public buildings such as library’s and museums or busier locations such as air ports and train stations. 

Users can analyse visitor flow and use the intelligent insight that the Axis People Counter has to offer. In turn enhancing visitor experiences, optimising budgets and potentially reducing costs by adjusting staffing levels. It’s also a great tool to asses promotional efforts towards the business. 

With the data captured from Axis People Counter, license owners can now make informed decisions and go on to increase the efficiency of their operation. It can help users to plan according to visitor numbers and trends and required service response. 

The open protocol also enables users to integrate the data into third party-business intelligence applications, so if combined with POS (point of sale) data, you can evaluate how frequently your visitors make a purchase. 

Axis People Counter paired with an Axis camera can be used to cover single or double door entrances. For wide entrances, multiple cameras with embedded Axis People Counter can be linked for synchronized counting. Counting data can be stored for up to 90 days with no SD card. 

Being an edge-based application, Axis People Counter stores information directly on each camera it is installed on which reduces bandwidth and storage requirements, eliminating the need for expensive servers. Data can be accessible in four ways: 

• By using a standard web browser to access the camera’s web interface.
• By downloading static raw data, available in various formats, through an open API in the camera.
• By using AXIS Store Reporter, a statistical web-based service. Ideal for use in multi-site and multi-camera installations.
• Through AXIS Store Data Manager, a locally run software program for easy integration of data into third-party business intelligence applications.

Optimal mounting height is recommended at 2.7m to 10m. Please also note that objects below approximately 110cm are not counted.
