The Axis Q1656-BE is a 4-megapixel box camera that delivers high quality images even in poor lighting conditions thanks to features such as Lightfinder 2.0. This unit is supplied without a lens or mount to enables users to fully customise the camera in order to meet their specific requirements.

Based on the latest Axis system-on-chip (SoC) ARTPEC-8 and featuring a deep learning processing unit (DLPU) the need for expensive servers is eliminated and allows for a faster and more scalable system. Axis Object Analytics offers detection and classification of humans, vehicles and types of vehicles tailored to users specific requirements.

The Q1656-BE has been designed for easy and reliable installation in a wide range of applications including car parks, city centres, train stations, construction sites etc. The unit is enclosed in a robust, impact resistant IK10-rated housing to protect the unit from vandal attempts. The IP66/IP67, NEMA 4X, and NEMA TS2 water and weather-resistant camera can also withstand winds up to 60m/s.

Remote zoom and focus and support for PoE and redundant DC power offers users flexible installation and maintenance without the need for physically adjusting the cameras focus yourself. As well as this surge protection and an intrusion switch ensure secure operation and built-in cybersecurity features prevent unauthorised access and safeguard the system.
