The Axis Q1656-LE is a 4 megapixel, network box camera that provides outstanding performance and exceptional images with the 1/1.8″ sensor. The 3.9-10mm varifocal lens offers a horizontal field of view of 113°-47°. 

Outdoor-ready, with an IP rating of IP66/IP67 to protect the camera from water, dust and dirt ingress the Q1656-LE also features a built-in wiper blade to clear the lens of snow and rain for optimal video surveillance in all weather scenarios. The box camera is also rated IK10, the highest rating against impact and vandal attempts.

Being part of the Axis premium Q-Line camera range means the Q1656-LE offers premium functionality to match. Thanks to Lightfinder 2.0 and a 1/1.8″ sensor the Q1656-LE provides outstanding video quality, even in poor light conditions. Also, with the intelligent i-CS lens technology and remote zoom and focus, the Axis Q1656-LE facilitates fast and easy installation and adjustment.

This high-performance camera is based on ARTPEC-8, the latest Axis system-on-chip (SoC). Featuring a deep learning processing unit (DLPU), it eliminates the need for expensive servers and allows for a fast and more scalable system. Plus, it improves processing capabilities so you can collect and analyze even more data than before – on the edge. 

Also featured on the Axis Q1656-LE is AXIS Object Analytics, it offers highly nuanced object classification enabling fast search in the VMS as well as reliable detection with fewer false positives. Furthermore, with support for ACAP version 4, users can add value to their system with tailor-made applications based on deep learning on the edge. 

The lightweight Q1656-LE fixed box camera is packed with built-in cybersecurity features to prevent unauthorised access and safeguard the system. Axis Edge Vault protects Axis device IDs and simplifies authorisation of Axis products on your network. Additionally, signed firmware and secre boot guarantee that the firmware is installed. And if needed, secure boot guarantees the camera is completely free of malware even after a factory default. It also includes a Trusted Platform Module (TPM_ that is FIPS 140-2 level 2 certified. Additionally, it features a Kensington lock for shock and theft prevention.

POE (Power Over Ethernet) and redundant DC power help ensure a reliable power supply to safeguard the system.
