The Axis Q1715 network block camera is designed for use with accessory housings and casings. This high performance block camera, with 21 x optical zoom offers great detail at long distances. And, it provides analytics metadata based on deep learning on the edge. 

Delivering HDTV 1080p at 50fps and 21 x optical zoom for the details, the Q1715 ensures the required pixel density and highest image quality for performing analytics. Thanks to Lightfinder 2.0, it captures images with more realistic and saturated colours as well as sharper images of moving objects. 

Axis Forensic WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) ensures clarity even when there is both dark and light areas in the scene. It offers Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) for stable video despite vibration. Furthermore, with scene profiles and auto-rotate functionality, it ensures optimal coverage and always-great image quality. 

The DLPU (Deep Learning Processing Unit) enables advanced features and powerful analytics based on deep learning on the edge. Axis Object Analytics offers highly nuanced object classification and reliable detection with fewer false positives which can be caused by shadows, heavy rainfall, foliage or wildlife. 

Axis Edge Vault ensures secure storage of all cryptographic keys and certificates and protects your Axis Device ID, simplifying the authorisation of Axis products on the network. It also includes a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) that is FIPS 140-2 Security Level 2 certified.

This lightweight block camera can be easily built into accessory housings and casings. It includes a serial port for controlling Axis T99A10 Positioning Unit or pan-tilt motors. Plus, the HDMI and HD-SDI outputs let users display live video on a public viewing monitor and users can connect to most video equipment. 

Thanks to I2C, it is possible to control IR-Illumination when mounted in optional Axis TQ1809-LE Housing T92G. It even comes with supervised inputs to notify users if the connection is cut. The Q1715 can be powered by DC power or POE. Even if there is a power outage redundant DS power ensures a reliable power supply to safeguard data.
