Axis Q6078-E Outdoor 4K PTZ Camera 02147-002

The Axis Q6078-E is a UHD 4K / 8MP PTZ camera, with 20x optical zoom providing excellent image quality. This PTZ is a great device to use in expansive areas particularly parks, airports and city centres thanks to its 1/2.5″ chipset and 4.4mm – 88.4mm varifocal lens providing a horizontal field of view of 68.3°-4.2°. 

Including built-in Autotracking 2 with click and track functionality the Q6078-E is equipped to support users in tracking subjects of interest. Axis Object Analysis offers highly granular object classification, to further support the tracking of humans and vehicles. Furthermore, the orientation aid and orientation overlay assist with object tracking and quick orientation.  The Q6078-E can alert users to potential security risks, these trigger conditions include, line crossing, polygon includes/excludes areas and objects in areas.

 

Rated IP66/IP67 the PTZ device is suitable for use outdoors, this rating means the camera can withstand adverse weather conditions whilst being protected from dirt and dust. It is also rated IK10 meaning the camera is able to withstand force, giving it a Vandal Resistant status. The addition of Forensic WDR helps to stabilize the image quality during challenging light scenarios. 

Security is enhanced with this camera thanks to built-in cyber security features to prevent unauthorised access to safeguard your system. Signed firmware and secure boot provide guarantees that the device’s firmware has not been compromised, ensuring only assigned firmware is installed. The PTZ also provides surveillance security in the form of mosaic tiles where privacy is required. 

The Q6078-E also features Axis Zipstream technology which uses H.264/H.265 video compression to save users considerable bandwidth and storage usage. Onboard the camera there is support for an SD/SDHC/SDXC card if required.
