Hikvision DS-2CD2E43G2-U 4MP AcuSense In Ceiling Fixed Mini Dome Network Camera

The Hikvision DS-2CD2E43G2-U is a 4 megapixel, mini dome network camera designed for mounting in-ceilings for a discreet looking security system. Suitable for indoor use only, the mini dome camera is an ideal choice for surveillance of offices, reception areas, shops and even homes.

Also featuring a built-in microphone, the DS-2CD2E43G2-U is able to pick up sound from up to five meters away providing real time, audio security. Being able to record audio as well as video can greatly improve surveillance, especially for times where it could be required for evidence.

With AcuSense technology also included, the camera is able to successfully focus on human and vehicles. In order to do this AcuSense technology uses deep learning algorithms and has been proven to greatly reduce false alarms which were previously triggered by shadows, heavy rainfall or foliage.

Available in two different focal lengths, 2.8mm and 4mm the DS-2CD2E43G2-U can be used to provide an overall, wide coverage of an area or can be used to target specific areas with the narrower 4mm focal length.

The Hikvision DS-2CD2E43G2-U supports efficient H.265+ video compression which has seen users save up to 90% bandwidth and storage capacity, with no compromise to the image quality itself. What’s more, to support the high image quality the mini dome camera uses 120dB Wide Dynamic Range, Backlight Compensation, Highlight Compensation and 3D Digital Noise Reduction. This ensures the images are clear, crisp and of a high quality, even in challenging or contrasting light scenarios.

Although the DS-2CD2E43G2-U can be powered via a 12v DC power supply unit, we recommend using POE (Power Over Ethernet). This means using only one network cable to supply the camera with power and data and therefore simplifying the installation process.
