The DS-2CD2H46G2-IZS is the first Varifocal Turret to be added to Hikvision’s AcuSense range. The 4 megapixel turret camera uses deep learning algorithms to reduce false alarms, typically generated by foliage, insects or pets. This means that alarm efficiency is vastly improved when targeting humans and vehicles.

With its vari-focal lens ranging between 2.8mm and 12mm the camera provides an excellent option for capturing a range of positions. Whilst a 2.8mm focal length will cover a wide area, the narrow 12mm option will provide greater depth of field for monitoring localised areas from a distance. Powered by Darkfighter technology the DS-2CD2H46G2-IZS performs extremely well in low light conditions with an IR range of up to 40 meters. The camera also uses technology such as WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) to provide a clear image against a strong backlight.

This camera can be powered by PoE or with a 12V DC power supply, we normally recommend PoE for ease of installation. Please note: this camera does not come with a power supply.
