Hikvision DS-2CD6924G0-IHS 180° 8MP PanoVu Network Camera

The Hikvision DS-2CD6924G0-IHS is a PanoVu camera made up of 4 x 2.8mm lenses providing a 180° horizontal field of view, and 8MP resolution.

Using smart human density counting and public behavior analysis, the DS-2CD6924G0-IHS has been designed to increase the safety and surveillance of large spaces, particularly those open to the public such as parks and city centers. 

The DORI Distance (Detect, Observe, Recognise, Identify) suggests the cameras ability to distinguish people or objects within its field of view. The DORI distance is calculated based on the camera sensor specification and the criteria given by EN 62676-4:2015. Please see below for the DS-2CD6924G0-IHS DORI.

Featuring a built in heater which enables the DS-2CD6924G0-IHS to defog the lenses, the camera is suitable for use in challenging conditions, it can even work in temperatures as low as -40°, The DS-2CD6924G0-IHS has also been given a weather and dust resistant rating of IP67 and a vandal resistant rating of IK10 adding to it’s suitability for use indoors, outdoors and in public spaces. It also features four IR LED lights which can reach up to 20 metres, this will support the camera in it’s low light capabilities. 

Onboard the camera is a slot suitable for a MicroSD/SDHC/SDXC enabling users to record on board the device. The DS-2CD6924G0-IHS also features both Audio Input and Output connections, as well as two Alarm Input and Output connections, providing users with the option of connecting 3rd party devices such as speakers, microphones, PIR lighting and smoke detectors. 

Finally, the camera does not come supplied with a power supply. Whilst the DS-2CD6924G0-IHS can be powered via a 12v DC PSU we recommend using PoE (Power over Ethernet) where possible. This minimizes the need for multiple cables and simplifies the installation. Please note that a standard PoE connection will not provide enough power to support this camera so a PoE Injector is required, our recommended option is listed above in the Frequently Brought Together section.
