Hikvision DS-7608NXI-I2/8P/S 8 Channel AcuSense Network Video Recorder

The Hikvision DS-7608NXI-I2/8P/S is an 8 channel Network Video Recorder. With 8 POE ports, users can connect up to 8 IP cameras in order to record footage. The embedded POE switch also provides the camera with a data and power source, meaning users only require one network cable per camera to operate a functioning security and recording system.

Now featuring AcuSense technology, an intelligent analytics based on deep learning algorithms, the DS-7608NXI-I2/8P/S recognises human and vehicle classifications with great success. 

Facial recognition and face picture comparison – This feature analyses face picture captured by the cameras. Using the face picture library the DS-7608NXI-I2/8P/S can trigger block-list and stranger alarms. Users can also search people of interest by the picture and name features. 

 

Perimeter Protection – The DS-7608NXI-I2/8P/S adopts the deep learning algorithm to reduce false alarms which were commonly caused by trees, leaves, shadows and small animals. Now, focusing on humans and vehicles, security alarm notifications have become more efficient and effective. 

On board the DS-7608NXI-I2/8P/S Network Video Recorder there are two SATA interfaces for hard drive connections. Please note that storage is not included with the puchrase of a DS-7608NXI-I2/8P/S, at use-IP we recommend the Western Digital Purple Hard Drives. The NVR uses H.265+/H.265/H.264+/H.264 video formats which can save users bandwidth and storage usage without compromising the video image quality. 

The DS-7608NXI-I2/8P/S also supports POS (Point of Sale) functions in the form of information overlays in the live view and playback. Aswell as Point of Sale triggered recording and alarm. This function can aid business in monitoring business performance, best sellers and peak shopping times. 

Users can connect to the DS-7608NXI-I2/8P/S via Hik-Connect and DDNS (Dynamic Domain Name System) for easy network management. The smooth streaming technology is accessible via web access without a plug-in.
