The Hikvision iDS-2CD7526G0-IZHS is a 2-megapixel outdoor varifocal dome camera that is part of the DeepinView series of cameras. The camera features Darkfighter technology for excellent low-light technology and 140dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology to help aid the camera with producing clear images even against strong backlight.
Not only this but the iDS-2CD7526G0-IZHS features an IP67 weather-resistant and IK10 vandal-resistant housing to protect the camera against both outdoor weather conditions such as rain and vandal attempts. The unit also features an anti-IR reflection bubble to help prevent IR glare (from the built-in IR LEDs) and allow the iDS-2CD7526G0-IZHS to produce high-quality images both day and night.
Camera Functions
Face recognition:
Deep learning-based algorithms enable the camera to give the best shot of a target face through detecting, tracking, capturing, grading and selecting. The iDS-7A26G0-IZHS captures faces and outputs features such as gender, age and expression. The face exposure function allows the camera to dynamically adjust face area exposure of captures and ensures high face picture quality.
Perimeter Protection:
Target detection and classification algorithms enable the camera to perform perimeter protection, monitoring the actions of line crossing, intrusion, region entrance and region exiting. These algorithms are able to prevent false alarms caused by items such as leaves, lights, animals, etc.
Multi-Target-Type Recognition:
The camera is able to differentiate between faces, human bodies, and vehicles within a specified region. It is also able to output features such as gender, age, clothing colour, and vehicle type.
The iDS-2CD7126G0-IZS comes with a choice of lens, users can select between:
– 2.8mm ~ 12mm ~ 114.5° ~ 41.8° Horizontal Field of View
– 8mm ~ 32mm ~ 42.5° ~ 15.1° Horizontal Field of View
This enables users to select whichever lens best suits their requirements. If they require a wider area of coverage then the 2.8~12mm is the more appropriate lens, whereas if a narrower field of view is required then the 8~32mm option will be better suited.
DORI refers to ‘how far’ a camera will see, the table below shows a rough guide for this:
| DORI | Detect | Observe | Recognise | Identify |
| Wide 2.8~12mm | 45m | 17.9m | 9m | 4.5m |
| Wide 8~32mm | 112.7m | 44.8m | 22.6m | 11.3m |
| Tele 2.8~12mm | 111.8m | 44.3m | 22.4m | 11.2m |
| Tele 8~32mm | 300m | 119m | 60m | 30m |
