IDIS DC-D4516WRX-A 5MP Vandal Resistant IR Dome Camera

The IDIS DC-D4516WRX-A is a 5-megapixel dome camera that has been designed for outdoor use with its IP67 and IK10-rated housing. This protects the camera against both harsh outdoor weather conditions and vandal attempts.

The camera is equipped with a fixed focal lens, users can select between a 2.8mm lens which provides a 104.8° horizontal field of view and a 4mm lens which provides a slightly narrower 79.2° horizontal field of view. Users are able to choose the lens that best suits their requirements. If they require a wide area of coverage then a 2.8mm would be recommended. 

As well as this the unit features built-in IR LEDs effective up to 30m, making DC-D4516WRX-A ideal for use both day and night. The camera can be used in a wide range of outdoor applications including to protect the outside of homes, offices, shops, schools etc.

Bandwidth costs are reduced thanks to support for the H.265 video codec which can save the user up to 80% on bandwidth when compared to H.264 codec. Not only this but the camera features a built-in microSD/SDHC/SDXC card slot for onboard storage. This can provide extra peace of mind and backup for customers who are recording to an NVR as well as directly to the camera.
