Mobotix Move MX-VB2A-2-IR-VA 2MP Vandal Bullet Analytics Camera

The MX-VB2A-2-IR-VA is the newest addition to the Mobotix Move range of cameras with integrated Video Analytics. This is the first time that intelligent video analytics are available directly via the camera firmware without additional licensing costs.

The video analysis package consists of 8 different functions:

– Object counting

– Intrusion detection

– Object removal

– Camera sabotage

– Abandoned object

– Stopped vehicle

– Wrong direction

– Loitering detection

The Mobotix MX-VB2A-2-IR-VA is equipped with an IR blocking filter which enables the camera to switch between day and night modes automatically depending on lighting conditions. In the day time the electronically controlled IR blocking filter ensures realistic colour images by filtering out the IR portion of the daylight. Then during the night the camera switches to black and white mode and the IR blocks are lifted in order to keep images usable even in poor lighting conditions of up to 0.01 lux.

As well as this the MX-VB2A-2-IR-VA camera features state-of-the-art integrated IR LED technology which ensures strong IR emission at the lowest power consumption and high-quality WDR image processing technology allowing the cameras to automatically compensate for lighting differences. This avoids generating over or underexposed areas in images.

Wide Dynamic Range shows more frame details for applications with highly demanding lighting conditions (areas with a combination of very light and dark sections), including building entrances, in shop display windows and loading bays or drive-in entrances to car parks.

The MX-VB2A-2-IR-VA can be used in a wide range of applications and installed in different ways such as installed on ceilings, walls, in the corner of a room or building and poles. The camera’s small size makes it extremely discreet and can be used in many ways such as to monitor museum exhibits, car parks, offices, as well as schools, hospitals and prisons.
