Mobotix MX-D71A-8DN 8MP Dome Camera

The Mobotix MX-D71A-8DN is an 8-megapixel fixed dome camera that can be accurately positioned to local conditions via the manually adjustable axes (right-left rotation, pan-tilt rotation and image rotation). Typically this is used for the basic orientation of the system, however, users can use manual rotation to handle special requirements. The manual rotation allows the image format to be changed from 16:9 widescreen to 9:16 portrait for use in corridors, enabling optimal surveillance with precise coverage of the intended area.

As well as this, the unit is fitted with a 4K day/night lens which comes in a range of focal length options. Users can choose between:

– 8DN050 ~ 90° horizontal field of view

– 8DN080 ~ 60° horizontal field of view

– 8DN100 ~ 45° horizontal field of view

– 8DN150 ~ 30° horizontal field of view

– 8DN280 ~ 15° horizontal field of view

The MX-D71A-8DN features a robust aluminium housing for indoor and outdoor use. The housing is IP66 weather-resistant and IK10 vandal-resistant protecting the camera against both harsh outdoor weather conditions and vandal attempts. The unit is suitable for a wide range of applications including public buildings, hotels, schools, shopping centres and car parks.

Fitted with an 8GB MicroSD memory card as standard, users also have the benefit of onboard storage with this model. Not only this but the MX-D71A-8DN features an integrated audio module with a microphone and speaker which means it can be used for direct communication with people on site.

The D71 is part of the Mobotix 7 platform which connects Mobotix state of the art video systems with the intelligent software of video analysis tools. This platform opens up the usability of the camera with access to the Mobotix certified apps which are based on deep-learning processes and make use of artificial intelligence.
