Mobotix Mx-S74A Camera Body

The Mobotix Mx-S74A is the newest camera from the S series of products and is also part of the Mobotix 7 system platform. Users can add up to four image sensor modules and function modules to the unit, a range of modules can be connected including:

– 4K/8MP image sensor, day, night and day & night

– Ultra low-light 4MP sensor with superior SNR (signal to noise ratio)

– Thermal sensor

– Multisense module with PIR

– IR light module

– Audio board

Not only do users have a wide range of modules to choose from, there is also a selection of mounting brackets. Bracket options include; dome style mounts both mono and dual, 3 axes pan and tilt mount.

The S74A camera body housing is ultra-robust and made of powder-coated aluminium for both indoor and outdoor use. Installation of this model is flexible and moveable with a range of module connection cables, a microSD card slot, plug in connection board for Ethernet and audio and discreet installation as only the sensors are visible.

Due to the flexibility of this module and the versatility of the Mobotix 7 platform, this model provides a single solution in applications that would normally require multiple devices. The S74A is able to view two directions at the same time and so is able to implement parallel license plate recognition and access control with a single camera.
