The IXE53 is a 5MP resolution Box Camera, with a vandal / environmental proof design, true WDR (wide dynamic range – to allow for improved levels of detail in areas of dim, dark, or bright lighting), smart compression (H.265, H.264, and MJPEG), and a range of Pelco Advanced analytics.
Supplied without a lens, users will need to purchase a compatible lens separately. The IXE53 supports i-CS Megapixel lenses, with remote zoom and P-iris focus control, and is designed with a CS thread, 1-32UN-2A lens mount.
Supported Lenses include, the MI3.9-10P (a 3.9 ~ 10mm MP iCS lens) and the MI9-50P (a 9 ~ 50mm MP iCS lens)
Pelco Enhanced Analytics Suite:
As a part of Pelco’s Sarix Enhanced 3 Series, the IXE53 includes 2 basic and 7 enhanced, user-configurable, analytics, and is even capable of running 2 enhanced and 2 basic behaviors at the same time. Users can then set-up different scenarios for each behavior (so your camera can automatically detect and trigger alarms when a specific activity occurs)
Basic Analytic Behaviors
– Camera Sabotage – Detects contrast changes in the camera’s field of view. Triggers an alarm if the camera lens has been obstructed (by spray paint, cloth, lens cap, ect) or repositioned without authorization.
– Region-based Simple Motion Detection – Based on sensitivity, allowing the camera to determine if sufficient motion has been detected in a defined zone.
Enhanced Analytic Behaviors
– Abandoned Object – Detects objects placed in a defined zone, triggering an alarm if an object remains unattended.
– Adaptive Motion – Detects and tracks objects that enter a scene, and triggers an alarm if they enter a defined zone. This is primarily used in outdoor environments with light traffic (helps to reduce the amount of false alarms caused by environmental changes)
– Directional Motion – Triggers an alarm when a person or object moves in a specified direction. Typically used for applications like Airport gates (to detect if objects are moving opposite to the normal flow of traffic, or if a person enters through a exit door)
– Loitering Detection – Detects people or vehicles remaining in a defined zone for too long. Effective in applications like ATMs, Stairwells, and School grounds, to detect suspicious behaivour.
– Object Counting – Counts the number of objects that cross a defined line. Can be used to count the number of people in a specified area. (This behavoir is based on tracking, and does not count people in a crowded setting)
– Object Removal – Triggers an alarm if an object is removed from a defined zone. Ideal for keeping track of high-value objects.
– Stopped Vehicle – Detects is a vehicle has stopped near a sensitive area for longer than the defined time allows. Ideal for detecting suspicious parking, traffic lane breakdowns, and for assisting with parking enforcement.
Benefits of Pelco Enhanced Analytics:
Improved Threat Detection
– Threats can be automatically detected and flagged
– With quick detection and the categorization of objects within a scene, false alarms are reduced.
With these features users can keep their surveillance system working as effectively as possible, allowing for security to focus on actual threats and to detect them much faster.
Optimised Response Times
With embedded enhanced analytics and select camera integration with Pelco VideoXpert, users can be provided with visual cues and notifications, allowing for quick response times – keeping detected threats from escalating into serious incidents.
Save Configuration Time
– Config times are minimised with simple setup and minimal software adjustments
This allows for your system to work effectively as quickly as possible with a streamlined process, ideal for any user.
Customise Object Behaviour
– Users can create/configure object in-zone, simple line counting, and counterflow behaviours, using the intuitive VxToolbox Interface
This allows for the customisation of analytic behaviours to meet the requirements of unique applications/environments, so users can configure a surveillance setup that suits their individual needs.
Designed for use in Difficult Lighting Conditions:
Pelco’s Sarix Enhanced 3 Box Cameras are also designed to offer impressive functionality in difficult environmental / lighting conditions, with the use of Adaptive IR Technology (to extract security detail in scenes with no light), Wide Dynamic Range (to capture detail in scenes with very bright and very dark areas), and Electronic Image Stabalization (to provide sharp, high-clarity images in the presence of vibration and wind-movement)
