The KBD5000 is a keyboard designed for use with Pelco systems, and fit for use with VideoXpert hardware. It is optimised for surveillance requirements in the controlling of virtual matrix cameras, and provides built-in LED lighting.
Keyboard Base Features:
– Includes a USB 2.0 interface, and is fit for use with a USB, captive, 5.0m cable.

As well as its base features, the KBD5000 includes three control modules, which can each be rotated individually depending on the users needs, providing personalised ergonomic comfort. These modules include:
– A variable speed, vector-solving Joystick, with keys – for lens iris and focus control, able to provide precise pan and tilt control of fixed and variable speed positioning systems. Twisting the Joystick zooms the lens in and out, while the included control buttons are used to navigate on-screen menus.
– A Jog dial/shuttle ring – for playback and menu navigation. This module contains four illuminated function keys, with each colour corresponding to the icons displayed on-screen. This allows users to navigate menus efficiently, without having to look away from monitors to read keyboard labels.
– A Keypad – for camera and monitor control, with keys used to select cameras and monitors, as well as the number of cameras to view. Features 0 – 9 keys, camera, monitor, and multiple view keys.
The KBD500 also features a built-in wrist support for added comfort, as well as a context-sensitive ‘Help’ key, easy export with USB port, and logical configuration.
