At SafeView Cameras, we stand behind our professional surveillance equipment and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy outlines our returns and exchanges process for our range of NVR systems, IP cameras, and security accessories.
Returns Eligibility
To be eligible for a return or exchange:
- Item must be in original condition with all packaging and accessories
- Return request must be made within 15 days of delivery
- Original proof of purchase must be provided
Non-Returnable Items
Due to the specialized nature of surveillance equipment, the following items cannot be returned:
- Opened CCTV Software (due to licensing restrictions)
- CCTV Lenses (for hygiene reasons)
- Custom-configured 256+ Channel NVRs
- Any item showing signs of installation or use
Return Process
- Initiate Your Return Request
Email our support team at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return. - Receive Return Authorization
Our team will review your request within 1 business day and provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number if approved. - Package Your Items Securely
Use the original packaging and include all accessories. Surveillance equipment is fragile – please ensure proper protection. - Ship Your Return

Exchange Process
For exchanges (size/model/color changes):
- Follow the standard return process above
- Clearly indicate in your email that you’re requesting an exchange and specify the replacement product
- Once we receive your return, we’ll ship the replacement item
Note: For commercial/bulk orders (5+ items), please contact your account manager for specialized exchange procedures.
Refund Information
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Refund Method: Original payment method (credit card, PayPal, etc.)
- Processing Time: 3-5 business days after receipt
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error.

Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective surveillance product:
- Contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage
- We’ll arrange for a replacement or repair at no additional cost
- For commercial installations, we can dispatch a technical specialist if needed
International Returns
For customers outside the U.S. (excluding Asia and certain remote regions):
- All customs/duties fees for returns are the customer’s responsibility
- Return shipping must be arranged through the original carrier (DHL/FedEx)
- Allow additional processing time for international returns
