The Veracity COLDSTORE CSTORE8-2UD-NX-UK is a powerful storage system embedded with Nx Witness video management system. Combining COLDSTORE sequential recording and extreme disk reliability with powerful Nx Witness VMS provides users with a unique recording solution.

Each CSTORE8-2UD-NX-UK can support up to 64, full HD channels at 30fps per channel. The system can also be scalable up to 100 servers, and with no recurring software license fees, it becomes a cost-effective, reliable solution to future-proof large systems. 

Embedded with Nx Witness, the CSTORE8-2UD-NX-UK is transformed in to a fully-featured Video Management Server. Nx Witness system is made up of four components – desktop, server, cloud and mobile, enabling simple and/or remote connectivity.

Nx Witness Desktop Client – Is a rich media player with a flexible GRID interface, unmatched speed and responsiveness, instant notifications, and embedded browser, and a user experience unlike any other video management software. All features are available on every system, stand-alone or enterprise, providing a consistent user experience on all sites. 

Nx Witness Server – Auto-discovers 99% of known IP Cameras and is ONVIF S and T compatible, including H.265 support. Dual (hi-res and low-res) streams enable adaptive scaling for Nx Client displays using minimum bandwidth . A hive architecture synchronises user settings and system configurations between all local servers. Combined with automatic failover protection, this ensures a resilient system with no single point of failure in multiple server installations. 

Nx Witness Cloud – Administrators can connect systems to Nx Cloud for easy merging and management of remote sites. All video and communications are encrypted for secure access, which can be shared easily with other users. Nx systems can be accessed from anywhere, via Nx desktop or mobile clients. 

Nx Witness Mobile Client – A low-latency client application for iOS and Andriod which provides remote viewing, PTZ control, fisheye de-warping, playback and smart searching from a smart phone or tablet. Connecting with encrypted links via Nx Cloud, it provides secure access to an unlimited number of Nx systems with live thumbnails and remote system control.

COLDSTORE technology features Linear Array of Idle Disks (LAID) and vibration-free Sequential Filing Systems (SFS) which delivers a powerfully simple storage system for resilient video surveillance, making the CSTORE8-2DU-NX-UK an ideal server and storage platform for Nx Witness. With up to 140TB effective storage capacity.

All COLDSTORE models offer very low power consumption with minimal cooling costs and lower UPS back up power costs. The typical maximum power consumption of the CSTORE8-2UD-NX-UK is 50 watts.
