Veracity Highwire Longstar Lite VLS-1N-LC

With the Highwire Longstar Lite, users are able to cut costs and reduce installation time by re-using long runs of legacy coax cabling. It’s connect-and-go approach means it is simple to install, each unit is self-configuring and requires no maintenance.

Certified compliant to BS EN 50121-4 this is especially useful within rail, metro or industrial applications. Longstar Lite which does not provide POE can deliver a data-only link up to 4.2kms (2.5 miles) at 10BaseT, with unrestricted 100BaseT and POE being delivered over 1.4kms (4600ft) on RG11.

The below diagram shows an example scenario of how the HIGHWIRE Longstar range enables both network data and power to be carried over extended length of new or existing coaxial cable.

Specifically designed for high-performance scenarios the device features SafeView™ technology enabling instant connectivity clarification.

HIGHWIRE Longstar can be rack-mounted with up to 24 accommodated in a 1U space-saving bracket supplied from Veracity. Please note that they can only be used in pairs of their own product family and are not interchangeable with any other Highwire product.
