The Vivotek ND9425P is a Linux-based network video recorder supporting up to 4K camera video decoding and local 4K display. This NVR features both H.265 and Vivotek’s Smart Stream Technology which enables the unit to provide high quality video, whilst saving on bandwidth and storage costs compared to H.264 compression.
Equipped with 16 PoE ports, users are able to power their cameras directly from the NVR. The ND9425P also supports remote and mobile access via VIVOCloud and iViewer apps for both iOS and Android devices. The VIVOCloud app provides instant push notification and direct video playback functions when triggered by an alarm notification and provides users a flexible and intelligent NVR for seamless use in small to medium sized video surveillance applications.
The ND9425P features Vivotek’s new web UI which supports Chrome browsers without the need for web plugins. Users are able to login and operate with ease, and provides safety, administrator authority and resolves any browsing or OS update issues.
Alarm management and event search are supported by Vivotek’s deep-learning video analytics technology and Smart VCA on the ND9425P. Users are able to search by single or multiple event types, playback triggered events and exports these results to video clips. As well as this users are able to troubleshoot problems and monitor power use for better operation. This features aims to avoid overloading the system as when this happens some PoE ports will auto power-off until the system power falls below the threshold for system protection.
Using the free VIVOCloud app makes surveillance lightweight and portable, ensuring efficient operation. P2P technology makes remote access even more convenient, users simply scan the QR-code and install the app, to view live streams and play recorded clips with the intuitive interface at any time, anywhere. A push notification function enables users to get alert messages on their device and playback the video to check for any suspicious activity.
