The Zyxel WAX510D is ideal for businesses looking to strike the right balance between performance and budget. The WAX510D features 2nd Generation WiFi 6 (Qualcomm 802.11ax 2.0) chipset, allowing the access point to take advantage of the full range of WiFi 6 technologies including uplink OFDMA and MU-MIMO.

The device is able to efficiently deliver high speeds to wireless clients smoothly and consistently whilst being efficient on power. The WAX510D delivers impressive performance whilst keeping the consumption of PoE within the PoE+ standard, so users can enjoy the WiFi 6 technology without having to upgrade their traditional switching architecture.

NebulaFlex Pro provides users with the full flexibility for users to switch between standalone, controller-managed and cloud-managed modes. As well as this it comes with a 1-year bundles Nebula Professional Pack License, eliminating the immediate licensing cost when migrating to full-featured cloud management.

There are two technologies that make WiFi 6 more efficient than 802.11ac; orthogonal frequency-division multiple access (ODFMA) and spatial re-use, also know as Basic Service Set (BSS) colouring. BSS colouring allows multiple access points to be used in the same vicinity without fear of co-channel interference.

Designed with an innovative “Dual-optimised” antenna, the WAX510D adapts to both wall and ceiling-mount installations so radiation pattern will not interfere with other devices. Users are able to switch between the two optimised antenna modes easily to fit either situation.
